Upload Tool

The Excel Work Order Upload Tool allows staff members, managers, and administrator level users to create up to 50 work orders at one time by uploading a tab-delimited file. Reasons buyers choose to use this tool include:

  • Project-driven services
  • High volume of work orders
  • Duplicate service events
  • Limited staff

Although OnForce provides thorough training on this tool, here are the main steps to uploading the a batch of work orders:

  1. Complete the required fields in the Excel file template
  2. Select Click to Export File, name and save as a Tab Delimited file
  3. Go to Work Orders > Create Work Orders and select the link, Upload file of work orders
  4. Browse, locate, and upload the Tab Delimited file
  5. A confirmation page will appear and show any possible errors
