Templates can be applied to new work orders. Upon selecting Create Work Order in the BCC navigator, the user will have the option to applying a Work Order Template from a drop-down list. The Work Order Template option does not appear if any of the following conditions apply: no templates have been created, a user is editing a draft work order, or a user is copying a work order using the copy function.

The method of work order creation is displayed in the work order history. If the work order was created from a template, the name of work order template is also displayed.
