The Service Profile

The Service Profile is the collection of a service pro's individual preferences, skills and interests related to the kind of service they wish to do with OnForce. Many components of the profile are essential for PowerMatch, OnForce's proprietary technology that helps identify providers that are best-suited for specific work orders. The public version of the profile that is visible to buyers when they route work orders in the Find a Pro tool is a critical element of a buyer's decision to select a service pro for work. In addition to the public version of the information, the Service Profile also includes important settings and preferences that indicate how a pro wants to interact with OnForce.

Service pros use the profile to indicate their specific technical capabilities and interests. Additional components include areas for pros to add industry certifications (which OnForce verifies) or for Pro Supervisors to request an OnForce-approved background check for themselves or their technicians. In addition to information that a pro can customize themselves, the Service Profile also contains feedback from work orders (in the form of quantitative and qualitative ratings) and, if appropriate, indications that a service pro is new or a member of the PowerPro program.

Completion of the Service Profile is required for any pro to receive work orders. In general, pros complete the Service Profile when they sign up to OnForce, but may edit the profile at any time. Service Profiles are accessed through the My Profile in the Professional Command Center (or Manage Users for Pro Supervisors).
