DM Checklist


If, after 10 minutes, the document thumbnail has not appeared (confirming the document was received by the DM system), service pros are advised to follow this troubleshooting checklist.

  1. Ensure scanner is configured to produce multi-page TIFF file (a standard format generated by Multifunction Copier/Fax/Printers) in monochrome - bit depth 1, at 300 dpi minimum resolution (see Verifying TIFF Properties).
  2. Be sure not to reduce or expand the image. The paper edges may create shadows that misrepresent the barcode.
  3. Ensure fax machine is configured to black and white, high resolution/fine mode and turn off fax headers.
  4. Do not reuse documents from other work orders. Barcodes are specific to the work order.  Barcodes are defined by the work order id, buyer id and pro id. The work order id is located in the text to the right of the barcode. 
If after verifying the steps in this checklist, the thumbnail confirmation image does not appear in the online work order, contact Market Support at 1.877.ON4.SPRT (1.877.664.7778).
