Add Custom Fields

Service pros are able to establish up to 12 custom fields that appear on each work order they accept. The fields are often used for purposes of internal accounting or time management.

Some examples include ticket numbers or employee IDs of the service pro delivering the service or business expenses.  All saved custom fields will be included in the search tool drop-down and can be included in the Activity Report.

To create a custom field:
  1. From the Professional Command Center, the Pro Supervisor selects Company Settings  > Custom Fields
  2. The name of the field should be entered in the appropriate column, along with indications of whether the field should be displayed on the service pro's version of the work order and/or listed on the Active Work Order page in the Professional Command Center.

Any custom field will appear in standard work order reports (accessible via the Reports menu) or can be selected to appear in custom reports.
