When a service pro completes a work order for payment, that service pro is responsible for calculating any sales or service tax that is required in their particular jurisdiction(s). Sales tax most often applies when a service pro has been asked to supply a part, but may be required for other situations. Requirements for both types of taxes vary widely by geography. It is the service pro's responsibility to understand all relevant tax laws, to withhold appropriate taxes and, when applicable, to remit them to the appropriate taxing authority. The OnForce Fee is not applied against the sales or service tax allocations.
